Subject: Bill of Rights Day Success
Dear Mr. Zelman:
I am VERY pleased to announce that I have been successful (tentatively, at least) in getting my County Commissioners to have a Resolution drawn up for B.O.R.D., to be read and made official next Tuesday, 12-12, at the weekly County Commission meeting. If possible I will attend that meeting to make sure, and send you a report. Until then, I will remain somewhat skeptical, even though it is a win win situation for them. They're not the best there is at doing the right thing, so maybe this will be a turning point for them?? Here's hoping!!

ps: we also just passed 2 referendums: 1. We cut the Commissioners pay by 50%; 2. We got a term limit passed for them!! Both by about 3 to 1.

Gentlemen,
This is to notify you that the city of PONTIAC, ILLINOIS,
on the 4th of December, 2000, passed a resolution declaring
December 15 and each December 15 thereafter "Bill of Rights
Day". I will present a similar resolution before the County
Board of LIVINGSTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS shortly. Hopefully I
can get our State Representative to introduce this "Bill of
Rights Day" proclamation to the state General Assembly.
