One of our supporters shared a system he uses
to find out if a politician is being honest with
him. We share the letter with you...... Let us
know your results!

This is my method of flushing out the two-way
rhetoric of elected officials; I send a response
immediately complimenting them on the decision
to follow my wishes, even though they have not
so stated. In the past, about 50/50, they come
back emphasizing their neutral position with more
pandering, patronizing rhetoric or, hopefully,
a stated position. A reversal of the game they
like to play with us. I sent an email and called
on the phone, requesting his opposition to Michael
J. Sullivan.

Dear Jon Tester,
I am pleased that you will oppose the confirmation
of Michael J. Sullivan as the Director of the BATFE.
Thank you.

Dear Correspondent:
Thank you for contacting me about the confirmation
of Michael J. Sullivan to serve as the Director
of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and
Explosives.
As a custom butcher, I made my living with a gun
for over twenty-five years. I know first hand that
firearms play an important role in the heritage
and the fabric of Montana. During my time as a state
senator in Helena, I consistently voted to protect
the Second Amendment rights of Montanans. I will
continue to support nominees who will allow law
abiding Americans to carry their firearms.
I appreciate you contacting me about this important
issue. As this nomination comes before me, I will
be sure to keep your views in mind. Please do not
hesitate to contact me again in the future if I
can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Jon Tester United States Senator
