Stand Your Ground, Shooters!

As the band wagon rolls on, here we go again! NYC mayor Bloomberg joins the ranks of the "never let a crisis go to waste" brigade and proselytizes about how the stand-your-ground (SYG) law should be scrubbed. He of course joins the knee-jerk multitudes who are chomping at the bit since the Zimmerman case ended with aquittal. It seems Sharpton and Jackson et al, are determined to foment race riots as well, using any lame excuse.
The Trayvon Martin case was not only NOT racially motivated but also was not in any way a stand-your-ground event, and how any logical thinking person can plant that diagnosis on it, well - they are just stretching the envelope for furthering their cause, which is to say the least, politically and racially motivated as well as devoid of much common sense and logic.
"The more pertinent question that we should be asking these days is: With 30 states having Stand Your Ground laws in place, why haven't the other 20 seen fit to better protect the rights of their citizens?" -->
