Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has a plan to defend gun rights in general and the Second Amendment in particular. The plan is visible in the policies set forth by Trump as well as his understanding of the value of the Second Amendment and the freedoms it guards.

Like Trump or hate him - superficially at least it appears he has some sensible thoughts on guns. Compare the points made with what "the other side" likes to espouse, which in a nutshell is to virtually 'ban all guns'. These days the Second Amendment is definitely in need of a champion to slow or stop the slippery slope it is on and bring things back to sensibility and observance of rights.
