Here are some opinions we have received regarding a recent article posted on JPFO’s website. It might be useful to review both that article, and an earlier article.

It cannot be overstated: This pending case before the Supreme Court of the United States (McDonald vs. City of Chicago) may be the most important in more than one hundred years. It is absolutely critical to gun owners. No American who owns a firearm should be ignorant of what is coming down.

Now, to the comments. (None of these were anonymous, but we’ve initialized the signatory’s names.)

“The last thing that the NRA wants is for the Supreme court to declare that all gun control laws are unconstitutional.

The last thing that Sarah Brady wants is a total ban and total confiscation of civilian owned firearms.

Why? The answer is the same for both the NRA and Brady. Either total firearm freedom or total firearm confiscation will put both groups out of business, leaving their high paid executives out of work.” CM

“I do not like what I read about the NRA positions on Gun Control as printed by the JPFO. They printed quoted matter about the positions of the NRA that are contrary to my beliefs. I am writing to you to change your "tune" and "get with the program". If I don't hear that you are against the statements as printed in the web page of the JPFO. I will resign my member ship from the NRA and advise my fellow members of the NRA about my objections to your stated positions.” MO (in a message to the NRA)

“G-d bless you guys for exposing the NRA for who they really are!” SC

“Thank you. I am going to contact NRA. I am still a member, but, it is looking like that is going to come to an end.” JL

“Once again, you have them tagged for what they are.

I will never forget standing out in front of the Supreme Court when Heller was being heard, holding one end of our large Second Amendment Sisters's banner. There were two NRA guys -- I don't know who they were -- but they had on NRA caps, and they were leaning against a tree just staring at us.

Finally, one of them came over to me and said that "I was making a spectacle out of myself and our organization, and that we should put our banner away and keep our mouths shut!" You can imagine my horror, and knowing me, you can imagine that I didn't keep my mouth shut. I gave them a couple of minutes of my loud mouth, stared them down and walked off.

IMHO, the NRA is nothing but a money-making machine. I quit being a member years ago, but it took at least two years to quit getting letters begging for money several times a week.

I'm so glad you are getting this out!” MT

“About seven years ago I came to a similar conclusion and asked NRA to remove all my info from their files, which they refused to do. IMO, when fedgov declares martial law fedgov will get NRA computers, then they'll be kicking in all the doors of everyone on the NRA's list.

NRA = Nationally Registered Arms” EC

“This post from JPFO deserves your attention. The quotes from NRA’s attorney in the successful Heller case are shocking. From this and their [JPFO] link to CATO, it appears that Heller was successful despite the NRA, not because of it!

If you don’t already support JPFO, please consider doing so. They are a real no-nonsense, never-let-disarming-happen-here gun rights organization, certainly as worthwhile as the others I support, like Gun
Owners of California (www.gunownersca.com), Gun Owners of America (www.gunowners.org), and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (www.ccrkba.org).” CP (to other gun owners)

“I have thought for a long time that the NRA was no longer working for the good of us, but for the good of them. I think it is a cleverly disguised organization working to create more laws.” JP

“I certainly hope you do a better job with McDonald than you did with Heller. This time, try supporting Gura. Honestly, I was left wondering after Heller whether you guys are AFRAID the court will rule in favor of the Second Amendment, and derail your gravy train. Man up and go for the jugular. Send Nugent to do it. He's got brass.

BACK GURA UP.

Then, when you talk about what you did, talk about how you backed Gura up.” PG (to NRA)
